Muneer Academy was established as means to provide a strong educational foundation for Muslim sisters, turning them into a source of enlightenment for the community. Muneer Academy is a non-profit full-time girls day school located in Warren, Michigan. Muneer Academy, just like Michigan Islamic Institute, offers two separate Islamic curriculums with academics for Grades 3 through 12. Students can choose to study in the hifdh or aalimah program in the morning from 8:30-12:00 pm and secular education until 3:30 pm.
At this school, students experience an Islamic environment that is centered around Allah ﷻ and where Prophetic teachings are model daily by certified female teachers and scholars. Our teachers and curriculum focus on student academic excellence and character development by using the Quran and Sunnah as guidance for the structure of the program. By establishing a well-rounded and Prophetic teaching model, Muneer Academy is able to provide an opportunity for females to study without compromising their studies, moral conduct or environment.

Students of this course will be taught the method of memorization of the Quran with proper Tajweed. There will be special emphasis placed on reinforcing the rules of Tajweed during memorization. Testing and evaluation of memorized sections (Juz) of the Quran will be conducted periodically, which the student is required to pass to move forward with memorization. Students will gain a systematic approach to complete their Hifz and also get an opportunity to learn the basic of Islamic Sciences, such as Hadith memorization, Masnun Duaa, and Jurisprudence (Fiqh).
Students of the Aalim course will gain the necessary skills for becoming upright altruistic citizens by being able to help develop the future communities of Muslims. The Islamic Sciences taught at the institute allow students to develop in-depth understanding of Arabic Grammar, Tajweed, Arabic Literature, Tafseer al-Quran, Hadith, Islamic Law (Fiqh), and Islamic History. After completion of the program, students will be able to conduct deliver speeches, conduct halaqahs, and propagate the faith.
Alongside our Islamic education, students at Masjid Uthman bin Affan are also provided an academic education in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Our academic curriculum is state certified and focuses on providing our students with a secular education that opens different academic pathways for each individual student.
